Veadeiros

The first piece from Mobília Puro is the lightweight armchair called “Veadeiros”, a design that was widely used in brazilianmodernism but is rarely found in contemporary furniture.
Nestled in the heart of Brazil, the “Chapadados Veadeiros” is a breathtaking landscape marked by its sparse vegetation and abundant water, serving as a spiritual sanctuary for many. It is there that MobíliaPuro was born. We chose to name our first piece after this remarkable place, honoring its deep significance in the creation of our brand.
The “Veadeiros” design emerged from the desire to blend the rusticity of raw iron with the elegance of brass. Wood, a material so tied to our culture, serves to connect these elements. The design of the backrest rests on this solid and resilient structure like a fabric in motion.
These fragments came together precisely and harmoniously through the handmade work of small artisans from São Paulo. The final result of this combination brings a contemporary feel that draws on modernist design, the cradle of our cultural production, making this piece timeless and unique.
