URUCUM

50x50x85cm

The Urucum Bar is a compact piece that revisits the tradition of the mobile bar through a contemporary lens. Its stainless steel structure defines the volume with precision and solidity. At the top, a movable brass ice bucket adds both functionality and material contrast. The red-painted interior creates depth and presence. The inner side panel, lined with cowhide, introduces texture, while six acrylic cup holders discreetly organize use.

Designed to function as a trolley, Urucum can move across different environments within the home, adapting to various occasions. More than a support piece, it is conceived to occupy space as an autonomous object.

The name refers to the Urucum Massif in Mato Grosso, one of the largest iron reserves in Brazil, as well as to the tree known for its intensely red seeds, widely present in Brazilian culture. The connection lies in the structural strength of the ore and the chromatic intensity of the fruit.

The Urucum Bar is a reinterpretation of a piece of furniture that has lost prominence over time. Here, it returns as a central presence — a contemporary altar for your drinks.
